While everyone was affected in some way by the COVID-19 pandemic, production of any kind truly came to a screeching halt…including the live events nonprofits needed to continue serving our communities.
Fundamentally, we all understood that fundraising needed to continue, but how? The answer came through technology – Live Virtual Events.
While Drew Townsend of The Naples Studio first saw the opportunity, I came along for the ride to ensure the resources needed during these challenging times continued to be available for all.

There are some ways a live VIRTUAL event is like any other event, but it’s also very different. It’s more like producing a live television show…a local version of a large awards show.
It can be challenging for clients to fully understand the differences. While some were able to see the full picture, others held a little more control. I feel like the events where our team created all the elements and videos were a bit more “polished”, but I’m proud to say 99% of our clients met or exceed their fundraising goal and a few blasted them right out of the water!
