I was brought in both as Location Audio and Editor. I also assisted in Stage Direction the night of the event. The full team included Director Matt Dykes, Director of Photography John Scoular and Ed Clay as the Show Caller.
The students were recorded at Artis Naples. Their segments were incorporated into a template chosen by Guerilla Media.

This is an example of a Bump Video.
Each live event has its own pace, yet it also needs to keep moving and elements like bump videos really help. This particular bump was based on a graphic element from the Boys & Girls Club’s archive. The words were already there, but I created movement by repeating the words.
As you can see, each line is its own layer with a darker part in the middle, the event logo and the bar it sits on plus the organization’s logo. This After Effects project took some time to create but, in the end, was used several times throughout the event producing the desired effect.
